Why guessing is the expensive option
The simulation decides a large share of your grade, and it is settled by a few numbers and sliders you set on a screen.
Capsim has already written down how all of it works. Almost nobody opens any of it, and the few who do have forgotten most of it by Round 3.
- A user guide, covering the whole game.
- A guide for each decision you will have to make.
- A video library.
- Worksheets, including sheets for planning a strategy and reviewing a round.
In about an hour you can stop guessing. You put every document your course gives you into one place your assistant can read. From then on you ask, instead of trying to remember.
Until then, guessing has a price, and it is not one price. Take one area: get the forecast wrong and you build the wrong number of units, then you pay to hold what you did not sell, and a round later you are short of cash. The other three areas each cost you in their own way.
Every one of them looks fine on the day. You find out in the report, a year later.

Why you stop explaining yourself
An assistant that answers from your own course material.
Ask an AI something and it answers from everything it has ever read. You cannot tell whether it means your game. A project changes that: you put your documents inside, and it answers you from those.
Every chat you open inside the project already knows all of it. You never explain your course again.
Think of a temp who does good work. Every Monday you explain the customer again. Someone who has been on the team a month just gets on with it. They are not cleverer. They already know things.

What you need
- Your Capsim login. Everything you download is inside it.
- Your own course material: the syllabus, the deadlines, and which extra modules your course uses.
- A Claude account. Free is enough to build this. A paid one, about twenty dollars a month, makes it noticeably better once all the guides are loaded.
- About an hour and a half.
You do not need a round played yet. This is the one project you can do in week one.
